Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)

The fundamental principle of Zero Trust is “Never Trust, Always Verify.” It assumes that threats exist both outside and inside the network boundary.

  1. Explicit Verification: Authenticate and authorize continuously based on all available data points (user identity, location, device health, service, or workload).

  2. Least Privilege Access: Limit user access with Just-In-Time (JIT) and Just-Enough-Access (JEA) policies.

  3. Assume Breach: Minimize blast radius by segmenting access, encrypting end-to-end, and utilizing analytics to gain visibility.

Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) & SASE

With workloads moving to multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), securing infrastructure requires dedicated platforms:

  • CSPM (Cloud Security Posture Management): Automates the identification and remediation of risks across cloud infrastructures, ensuring compliance with security standards.

  • SASE (Secure Access Service Edge): Combines network security functions (like SWG, CASB, and FWaaS) with WAN capabilities to support secure remote access.
